Userresearch.google.com website redesign
Project date: October 2016–January 2017
Project description: The goal of this project was to redesign google.com/usability (now userresearch.google.com), Google's external resource for recruiting participants for UX research studies. The previous version of the website was not user-friendly and did not reflect Google's brand. When working on the redesign, my team and I focused on creating an engaging and delightful experience for site visitors. We aimed to create a design that made individuals feel welcome, excited to participate, and proud to be part of Google's research program. After participating in an initial design sprint for the project, my role was to develop wireframes, initial layouts, final designs for the website, and site illustrations. Since the launch of the new and improved site in July 2017, the site's bounce rate has decreased significantly. As well, the number of people who begin the survey from the landing page has greatly increased.
